“This polishing cloth wipes my flute so clean it SQUEAKS! As an oily girl, this was simply impossible with any other cloth. Its huge size allows me to hold the flute with one corner of the cloth so I don’t get oily fingerprints on it while wiping other parts of the flute. AND it’s machine washable and dryer safe. This means my oils will not build up on the cloth due to handwashing procrastination. All my polishing cloths woes have been abolished!”

Alishan Tea Leaves
Not only is Alishan known for its hand-rolled high mountain tea leaves that are unique for its health benefits such as relieving stress, accelerating your metabolism, and lowering your cholesterol, but also for its unique shape, hence its name: two leaves and a bud.
Mountain Railroad
The mountain railway was originally constructed during the Japanese Era by the then Colonial Government as a means to facilitate the logging of cypress and Taiwan wood. However, due to technical difficulties in constructing in the mountainous terrain, the originally contracted Osaka-based company pulled out after laying out the tracks, leaving the Japanese government a solid foundation to further extend it to the now Alishan in 1913. Fast forward to 1933, The Alishan Forest Railway became a major tourist railway taking hikers all the way from Kagi (now Chiayi) to Niitakaguchi, the closest station to the highest mountain in Taiwan (then-Japanese Empire), Niitaka (now Jade Mountain).
